GROB slotting machines for a variety of operations on coldrolled splined or unsplined hollow components. Cutting to length, punching of oil holes and forming of snap ring grooves can be performed in one cycle.
Coldrolling machines
GROB coldrolling systems are based on a simple and universally applicable principle for the efficient production of tooth-forming or coldreduction of cylindrical parts. The entire coldforming operation is divided into a large number of individual steps uniformly distributed over the complete cylindrical section of the forming area. As a result only small forces are required, even for a high degree of coldforming at high production rates, thus allowing the manufacture of high-precision components. Based on the above principle a number of techniques and machines have been developed for various applications.
